About the Event:

On April 23, 2016, cloth diaper enthusiasts around the world will bring attention to the benefits and ease of cloth diapering by changing the babies into a cloth diaper around the globe at 11am local time. The first year, 2011, just over 5,000 babies participated and 2015 saw nearly 8,000. Over 188 locations and 18 countries participated. The Boonsboro location, sponsored and organized by Enkore Kids has been a host locaiton since the beginning.

This event is a great way to show the world how many people are using cloth diapers, keeping disposible diapers out of our landfills. With the help of vendors and additional sponsors, it's also a great way to introduce your business or service to families with young children.

We expect approximately 100 people to participate, including the baby to be changed and their family members. While the number is relatively small, your sponsorship will reach far greater numbers. In the years past, the Boonsboro Great Cloth Diaper Change was featured in the Child Guide, Frederick's Child, Herald-Mail, NBC WHAG Channel 25, and on WEPM AM1340 Radio. Our website receives over 8,000 unique visitors per month, our email newsletter is received by 2,000 customers, and our Facebook Page has over 3110 "Likes".

The audience your sponsorship will reach care about family, health, and the environment. And, in this economy, understand the economic value of using cloth diapers, as well. They look to support other businesses that share those values.

Your sponsorship will help pay for:

  • Official Great Cloth Diaper Change host fee (benefits the Real Diaper Association, a non-profit organization)
  • Goody Bags that each of the first 50 participants will receive at registration
  • Advertising for the event
  • Assisting the Washington County League of Adoptive and Foster Families with cloth diapering
  • Directly assisting needy families with our Enkore Cloth Diaper Closet subsidized and "rent to own" plans.
  • Donations can also be directed to our chapter of "Share the Love" a completely free diaper lending program.

In return, you'll receive recognition and benefits commensurate with your sponsorship level. We'd love to work with you. If you don't see a level that suits your needs, please contact us and let us know how we can better work together for the benefit of your business and cloth diaper awareness. For example, other areas we need help with include: creating signs and banners, publicity (connections with reporters, bloggers, and other media would be invaluable!),  and running the Kiddie Korner with activities to keep older children occupied while the Change is going on.

We can’t wait to put cloth diapers into the record books again, this time with YOUR help!

Sponsor Guidelines:

While there is no limit to the available sponsorships (the more the merrier), we are limited by how many vendors can be accommodated on-site to about 25. So the following guidelines will determine who is given precedence:

  1. Physical business location directly related to babies/children
  2. Physical business location otherwise family oriented
  3. On-line retail location directly related to babies/children (Work at Home Mom diaper manufacturer, for instance)
  4. On-line retail location otherwise family oriented
  5. Independent Product Consultant business directly related to babies/children (limit one per brand)
  6. Independent Product Consultant business otherwise family oriented (limit one per brand)

  2. We will contact you via phone or email to confirm details and your needs.
  3. You'll be able to pay via an invoice through Paypal or by check to Enkore Kids.
  4. If chosen to sponsor a table, please arrive by 8:00am on Saturday April 23, 2016 to the Fire Hall, 5 St. Paul Street, Boonsboro, MD
  5. Please do not start packing up until after 12:00pm.
