The naturally antibacterial properties of this non-splintering hardwood maple are a safe, eco-friendly, & non-toxic alternative to plastic teethers that can inhibit the growth of bacteria.
The maple ring is 3" in diameter & can be washed with warm water & mild soap. Our teethers are soft yet durable for aching & budding gums of teething little ones. The cotton print & soft bamboo backing rabbit ear lovie gives little hands extra to hold & chew on. Bamboo is a super absorbent soft fabric that is sure to hold lots of teething drool :)
The lovie can be moistened then frozen for extra teething comfort. This is my 16 month old's favorite. I keep the ring attached in the freezer, since the lovie gets so stiff then cold for her little hands to hold :) The lovie can be machine washed & dried separately, on low, then put back on ring.
We hand sand each ring so it is silky smooth & we then polish with our homemade beeswax & olive oil finish. This helps protect the wood from the wear of teething kiddos.
